1. General

Chartera ("Platform") is a marketplace connecting clients with charter companies and yacht owners. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once the prepayment (typically 50%) is received. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the charter start date. All prices include mandatory charges unless otherwise stated.

Security deposits are collected by the charter company at the marina and are refundable upon return of the yacht in good condition.

3. Cancellation Policy

• 30+ days before charter: full refund of prepayment
• 15-30 days: 50% refund of prepayment
• Less than 15 days: no refund

Individual charter companies may offer different cancellation terms, which will be clearly shown at the time of booking.

4. Skipper Services

Skippers are arranged through charter companies as an add-on service. Chartera facilitates the request but the skipper is employed by or contracted through the charter company.

5. Liability

Chartera acts as an intermediary. We are not liable for damages, injuries, or losses arising from the charter. Charter companies maintain their own insurance.
